U.S. Hot Stocks: Hot Stocks to Watch
Among the companies with shares expected to actively trade in Friday's session are ANI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ANIP) and Textron Inc. (TXT).
ANI Pharmaceuticals has acquired 31 previously marketed generic drug products from Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA, TEVA.TV) for $12.5 million in cash and a percentage of future gross profits from product sales. ANI will immediately begin to transfer the products into its manufacturing facilities, with plans to launch the products beginning in the fourth quarter of 2014. ANI's shares rose 5.1% to $18 after hours.
Textron agreed to pay $1.4 billion to acquire U.S. plane maker Beechcraft Corp., a deal that combines the maker of Cessna planes and Bell helicopters with the maker of Hawker business jets. Textron's shares rose 2.2% to $37 in after-hours trading.
