Chart Type

Chart Type describes the format of the chart to be presented. A chart is a graphical method of showing where prices have been over specific time frames and is used by stock market analysts. A chart has an x-axis (horizontal) and a y-axis (vertical). Typically, the x-axis represents time and the y-axis represents price. There are many different types of charts that can be used to display prices. Two such types are a Bar Chart or a Candlestick Chart.
